Miramar Midwives is a group of 5 experienced midwives offering LMC care in the Wellington region. We have clinics in Miramar, Rongotai and Newtown and prioritise women in the Eastern, Southern and Central Suburbs. But we may also have capacity for other areas, so please feel free to contact us.
Our midwifery philosophy is based on the knowledge that birth is a normal and natural process. We provide one on one care during your pregnancy, labour and birth (vaginal and caesarean) and the postnatal period up to 4-6 weeks.

PLUNKET AND ORA TOA WELLCHILD SERVICES
Wellchild visits are available free of charge throughout New Zealand and your midwife can refer you for your first visit from 4-6 weeks. Your nurse will assess your baby’s growth and development and provide you with information and support on a variety of topics including breastfeeding, immunisation, nutrition, parenting and sleep.
