Wellchild visits are available free of charge throughout New Zealand and your midwife can refer you for your first visit from 4-6 weeks. Your nurse will assess your baby’s growth and development and provide you with information and support on a variety of topics including breastfeeding, immunisation, nutrition, parenting and sleep.
