About Us
We are a Lead Maternity Carer (LMC) practice of two philosophically aligned registered midwives based in Miramar, Wellington. We encourage and support normal physiological birth. We provide care across the scope of practice from pre-conceptual advice, antenatal care, labour and birth support to postnatal care. We provide both home based and clinic based care, depending on individual circumstances

Hi I'm Jo, congratulations on your pregnancy. I have been a registered health professional for over 20 years & recently completed a Bachelor of Midwifery degree. Prior to this I worked as a practice nurse in Miramar. I have maintained a positive relationship with local GPs and nurses. My husband & I have 3 teenage children who continue to keep us busy and involved in their school and sports activities. I look forward to meeting you.

Hello, I'm Katherine, a registered midwife and a mother of 3 children. I love the ethnic diversity that comes with working in Wellington and find it very humbling to be able to be a part of this journey with women and their whanau. I have lived in Japan for 15 years and I am happy to provide midwifery care in English or Japanese.
